Happiness is being a Grandma!

On August 14th, I became a grandma for the first time. I was able to watch her birth, which was a blessing. Quite a different experience being the one not on the bed delivering a child. Of coarse, I had both of my cameras going.. photographing the miracle as it unfolded right before my eyes. Watching my daughter become a mother was just unreal and I had a hard time wrapping my brain around it, but feeling quickly diminished when I laid my eyes on my new granddaughter. I am also

so proud of my daughter, she is an amazing mother to little Maddie! Here is one of Maddies newborn pictures.

I love photographing families and their extended families! This is a special memory to record and more importantly a great experience for all.

Awaiting Baby Autumn!

I have to say going on location for my sessions has opened up a whole new world for me! I love using my clients environments to make my sessions with them more personal. It allows me to be more creative on the spot and more of a challenge, which I thrive on! This is the first maternity session I had done in my clients home.. And they loved the convenience! Julie and Ryan are awaiting their second baby, which is a little girl! I can hardly wait to photograph this little one in just a few weeks!

We're excited to host our senior Facebook parties yet again.  Every Thursday through September we are celebrating our high school seniors and future high school seniors with a complimentary mini portrait session, one portrait to use as a profile picture, and of course a little music and fun.  Profile pictures will be retouched and then posted to our studio Facebook page, where you can tag yourself and update your profile quickly and easily.  No purchase necessary, so come on down and bring your friends!  Sessions are by appointment only between the hours of 6:30-9:00pm on Thursdays throughout the month of September, so be sure to RSVP today!
